Terms and Conditions

By placing a deposit or purchasing a ticket for the May 17, 2026 bus excursion, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

OhioPatriots.org is a not-for-profit Ohio corporation with no assets. All individuals assisting with this excursion are unpaid volunteers.

This is not a commercial ticket sale. We are collecting contributions into a shared money pool to cover the actual costs of chartering the bus, including bus parking in Washington, DC, credit card processing fees, ticketing fees, and any applicable taxes.

Your contribution covers only these shared costs. Personal expenses such as meals, drinks, or souvenirs are not included. This is a one-day excursion — no lodging is provided.

A $15 per-person deposit is required to secure a reservation. This deposit will be refunded after the trip as part of our not-for-profit money pool process, regardless of whether you ultimately purchase a full ticket.

• Depositors receive priority access when full tickets go on sale. Spots are not guaranteed until the full ticket price is paid. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if full payment is not received by the deadline.
• Only electronic payments are accepted (major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App). Cash is not accepted.
• You may reserve up to 6 seats per transaction. Please only reserve seats you intend to purchase.

Depositors receive priority access to purchase full tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.

Full payment is required at the time of ticket purchase.

• Priority sales for depositors are expected to open no later than Thursday, April 17, 2026 at 7:00 PM EDT. Exact date, time, and instructions will be sent via email.
• Remaining seats will open to the general public on April 24, 2026, or as soon as all depositors have had the opportunity to purchase — whichever comes first.

The estimated ticket price is $140 per person or less. The final price will depend on supplier costs and total participation.As a not-for-profit organization, we operate on a money-pool basis. Any funds remaining after all expenses are paid will be divided equally among ticket holders and refunded after the trip.

All departure and return times are approximate and subject to change. Exact times will be finalized closer to the event and sent to ticketed passengers via email, with updates posted on our schedule board.

We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, schedule, or pick-up locations if necessary. Final pick-up locations will be determined based on demand and announced via email before full ticket sales begin.

In the unlikely event the trip is canceled by us, all deposits and payments will be fully refunded.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable (except as provided in these Terms).

Full first and last name plus cell phone number are required for every passenger.

Only OhioPatriots.org can facilitate a ticket transfer. Contact us early if you cannot attend so we can attempt to resell your seat.

We run on a tight schedule. Departure times and locations are firm.  

You are responsible for arriving on time. We are not responsible for refunds or expenses if you miss the bus. The bus will not wait excessively for late arrivals or turn around to retrieve anyone.

Check the departure board on our website regularly for updates, especially on May 16–17, 2026 (available only to ticketed passengers).

Our maximum liability to any participant is limited to the amount they contributed to the money pool.  OhioPatriots.org does not carry liability insurance. The chartered bus company carries its own insurance. 

We strongly recommend participants purchase their own trip insurance.

Participants are responsible for their own belongings. We are not liable for delays, weather issues, personal injury, illness, or any other losses.

All participants must follow bus company safety rules.
