A “Coach”, as used here, is just another more sophisticated name for a fancy, deluxe bus. The buses WE use are all Deluxe Coaches! NICE!!
Each coach is late-model MCI (brand) with many amenities:
This is a volunteer with Ohio Patriots, (not an employee of the Bus line) who has taken-on the responsibility for keeping track of all passengers on and off their assigned coach, collecting any tickets, required forms and providing information, either printed, verbally, or via announcements on the Coach's PA system .If you have a problem with the bus, see your captain or co-captain who will be the liaison with communication to the bus driver
Each Passenger will be provided a color-coded Tyvek wristband (possibly TWO) that matches the color-coded placard on the door of your bus. This is to help YOU and US be sure you are in the right place! You need to place these on your wrist as instructed. You will be asked to show your wristband(s) to your bus captain each time you reboard your bus, at rest stops and in DC for the return trip..
Also, while the coaches are parked at Union Station in DC, the bus driver will know who is permitted on their bus to have access to belongings left on board.
NO!
Once on your bus, you may not opt to board a different bus at any time during the day UNLESS you get approval (or are given instructions to do so) from BOTH bus captains and are then provided a different corresponding wristband. Don't risk not getting back to where you started your day, which then becomes YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to get yourself where you need yo go!
We request that when you board the bus, you continue in to please fill the seats in the rear of the coach first. These buses will likely be filled to capacity, and there will be no empty seats once everyone is seated This is for expeditious seating as those who are first in, will be getting their belongings situated in their personal spaces and overhead compartments (and will likely be blocking the isle). Everyone must ride in a seat. There is no sitting or standing permitted in the aisle (unless you are waiting to use the onboard restroom)
We do not allow anyone to reserve seats for themselves or to ensure your group can sit together. If you want to be seated with your group, please arrive early and board the bus together.
WE will reserve some seats sections for passengers who will be embarking along the way, so they,, too, have the same opportunities to sit with their group of fellow travelers. Additionally two seats in the very front of the coach are reserved for volunteer Bus Captains for their close proximity to the coach entrance and the PA System microphone.
PLEASE RESPECT any reserved seats with "Reserved" signs placed in them, and do not choose those seats or move (or remove) the signs. Thank you
The Ohio Patriots Fleet was chartered for our excursion. As far as the bus line is concerned, Ohio Patriots is their only customer, not any of our hundreds of passengers. They have nothing to do with individual ticket pricing, reservations, ticketing and payments for our charters. They are not capable to answer any questions on our behalf.
OUR Reservations and Payment System is 100% online.
No exceptions can be made (for many reasons)
We plan to arrive in DC at approximately 7am on January 20, 2025. When you arrive in DC, we have no planned events of ours, so you are on your own, except to Depart (boarding begins at 5:30pm) to Return home at approximately 6pm from Union Station. These times ARE subject to change.
Tickets purchased on this website are for round-trip transportation related services only. Most of those going will be viewing the inauguration from the FREE area on The Mall and along the parade routes, so if you wish to try to acquire other types of tickets, that is entirely up to you.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 3pm, we are tentatively scheduled to depart at 6pm. If you do plan to spectate along the parade route, we HIGHLY recommend you do so near the Capitol building where it originates, and do so on the North side of Pennsylvania Ave (closest to our Union Station departure location)
We have no scheduled group activities. Everyone is on their own with their own group to do as they wish all day. If you are riding alone, it is highly advisable to ask to tag-along with another group of your fellow bus riders. If YOU notice someone riding alone, it would be commendable to offer a single rider to join you.
YES! Union Station becomes our home-base of operations in DC (on the Bus parking deck. USPG) The bus drivers will stay with the coaches all day, and will offer in/out privileges to riders on their bus.. (there is no sleeping on the bus at Union Station -per USPG rules)

We prefer to keep precise information away from the prying eyes of people who aren't participating. It is a security measure to provide those details only to ticketed passengers, and not until 24 hours prior to departure.

Once purchased, Cancelled Reservations are not refundable.
Tickets are offered as non-refundable, but then again we are all humans and life doesn't cooperate. If you can find someone else to take your ticket, great. (IMPORTANT: make sure we know who it is and their cell phone number). If WE can resell your ticket for you, we will try. Contact Us.
If the inauguration is officially canceled (or moved inside where we can't see it), we will not go if we have advance knowledge of such a move. If the weather on the roads is too hazardous to travel, that is the determination of the the Bus Line Management. If the trip is entirely canceled, WE WILL refund any amounts that are refundable to us, in equal amounts divided those who purchased your ticket online. If you personally decide not to go at the last minute, that is non-refundable unless the entire trip is canceled.
If the entire trip is canceled, refunds will begin being issued immediately after we receive all of our refunds from suppliers Because each one is manually processed, it may take several days to get them all completed.

Additionally, each passenger will receive their ticket/boarding pass via text message
If we show availability at that location, then yes. There may be multiple buses leaving some of the same Departure Locations, so get there early so you can board the same bus together.
That particular location may be sold-out. If you arrived at that page, we may still be able to accommodate you. (When a location is completely full, we disable that link and note it as sold out, but there may be other internal circumstances causing that error) There is a Contact Form for that purpose.
